Job Description

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has a Long Term Substitute Physics Teacher opening in our Secondary building. The successful candidate will need to:

• Must have strong skills and knowledge in Physics
• Experience and understanding of differentiated and blended learning 
• Experience and willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs
• Exceptional communication skills, collaborative, hardworking and nurturing
• Experience with co-teaching, good team player
• Able to build a positive rapport with students and parents 
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues with successful experience in working as part of a team 
• Excellent written and communication skills 
• Demonstrated evidence of commitment to professional learning 
• Able to manage several students and projects at the same time in a high-paced environment 

Job Qualifications

• Teaching Certificate in Science 7-12
• Fingerprint Clearance
