The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Custodian.   The successful candidate will need to:

  • Regular inspection of buildings and grounds to maintain proper cleaning and maintenance procedures;
  • Participate in cleaning and maintenance work; supervise such activities;
  • Operate and check the operation of the heating and cooling systems;
  • Ensure that buildings are heated/cooled, cleaned, locked/unlocked, and ready for all activities;
  • Participate with other custodians in a team approach to problem solving;
  • Consult with the Director of Facilities regarding unusual maintenance issues, reports of acts of vandalism, and/or breakage;
  • Ensure that the buildings are clean and safe for students and staff;
  • Assist with snow removal and other duties as assigned by Director of Facilities.

School Monitor (Cafeteria - Lunch)MES12.2025

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a School Monitor (Cafeteria - Lunch).   The successful candidate will need to:

  • Supervise and support students during mealtimes;
  • Assist with the flow of student traffic into and out of the cafeteria;
  • Ensure that the cafeteria rules and regulations are being followed;
  • Assist with cleaning cafeteria tables, chairs, and floors.

Probationary Speech Language Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist - 2 PositionsMES9.2025-2

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has openings for a Probationary Speech Language Therapists or Speech Language Pathologists.   The successful candidates will need to:

  • Experience with speech/language instruction in an elementary and/or preschool/Universal Pre-Kindergarten setting;
  • Experience with speech/language instruction in a special education setting;
  • Experience and willingness to co-instruct/co-teach young learners with general education or special education teachers in an elementary setting;
  • Strong knowledge base of speech and language developmental milestones;
  • Specialty in phonemic awareness skills and signs of apraxia preferred;
  • Training and qualification to instruct in IEP goals;
  • Experience and willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs;
  • Must be able to support skills-based program of reading and writing instruction;
  • Must be able to support and work in a team-learning classroom setting;
  • Experience with Medicaid reimbursement.
Starting at $49,480.00 per year w/Masters
